A variety of wagons and carriages participate in the trailride.

For the 3rd year in a row, the Valley Lodge Trailride Association wins the best trailride group for their size.  Roland Fulton, the Trail Boss (center holding the trophy) with his team of Scouts, set a record by winning the award all 3 years he was Trail Boss!

As we ride into downtown, one of the most fun things about the Houston Rodeo Trailride is the folks who come out to wave and yell the riders on!  This is where the parade actually starts!
