Cindy's favorite thing to do is to
trail ride with her buddy, Rio Rojo (Spanish for Red River, named by her friend Mary Milne). Rio
is Cindy's 2nd horse since moving to Houston. She got him in September, 1997.

Goodbye, Cindy . . .From Daniel, her husband: I am sad to announce that my amazing, talented wife of 40 years passed away on December 27th, 2022.

Rio joins Cindy . . . On Wednesday night, 11-26-2025, Rio Rojo, Cindy's loyal trail horse and double Doc-Bar cutting horse, crossed the Rainbow Bridge to join Cindy in those Celestial Trails in the sky. He was an amazing animal and faithful companion for Cindy.
Rio lived to be the ripe old age of 32, Cindy owned him since he was 3 years old.
Over the years, they had many trail ride adventures including riding the Rodeo Houston parade 8 times with Valley Lodge Trail Ride Assoc.
They also rode with the Stampede Riders and Montgomery County Trail Ride Association.
