A Lifetime of Horses

Cindy has been riding since she was 4 years old.   Her first horse, Fury, was given to her by her Dad when she was six years old.  He died at the ripe old age of 31 and was buried on the family farm in Kansas where she grew up.

Chicken (Capitol Chick, Jr.) was her next favorite horse, a Quarterhorse from the lineage of Capitol Chick, a race horse.  She lived in Bendena, Kansas.

She lived in Houston 11 years before she realized what she was missing, her favorite hobby of all, riding horses.  She acquired Scotty (Sassy Scotchman) from Mary Milne, MM Quarterhorses, in 1992.  He is a Palomino Quarterhorse, a Scottish Chord.

As Scotty grew older, the longer trailrides became too hard on him, so Cindy found her newest and funnest horse, Rio Rojo (Red River).  He is from the lineage of Doc Bar, one of the most famous cutting horses in recent history.   He is considered a double-Doc Bar because both his father and mother are decendents of Doc Bar.
