At Saddlebrook Equestrian Center, our goal is to provide top quality horse related activities for people of all ages. All our clinics are custom designed with the participants in mind. Whether you have been riding all your life or you have never thrown a leg over a horse, Saddlebrook Equestrian Center has the perfect activity for you.

The foundation of all our activities at Saddlebrook Equestrian Center stems from the premise that a strong bond between horse and rider must be achieved. That bond will become the basis for your success. That's why all our Level 1 Clinics involve extensive ground work.

In our Level 1 Horsemanship Clinic you will learn tying properly, leading properly, desensitizing to equipment, lunging, disengaging the hindquarters, backing your horse, manipulating a horse's body weight through the halter, disengaging the forequarters, side passing along the fence, taking your horse across a spooky object, and taking you and your horse through a narrow opening safely.

Cost: $175 per day
   If you would like to bring your horse a day in advance for boarding at Saddlebrook, the fee    is $30/night. You will only need to bring your horse's feed. Hay and shavings will be    provided by Saddlebrook.

Negative Coggins Required

No Stallions

You Must Have a Rope Halter, a 14' Lead Rope and a Stock Whip (If you don't already have these items, they may be purchased at the Clinic.)
